Hafiz Fruits is a fresh produce supplier based at the Vegetable Market in Al Aweer, Dubai. We buy fruit and vegetables at the market every morning and deliver them to homes across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah the same day.
That is the whole business in one sentence. The rest of this page explains what we stock, where it comes from, and what happens between the market floor and your kitchen.
Where we sit in the supply chain
Al Aweer is where imported produce lands in Dubai. Air freight and reefer containers arrive overnight, and by early morning the market is trading. Working from inside it means we see the fruit before it is boxed for retail, and we can turn down a consignment that has travelled badly rather than pass it on.
Most online grocery orders in the UAE are picked from a supermarket shelf that was itself stocked two or three days earlier. Ours are picked from stock that arrived that morning. On seasonal lines like mangoes and litchi, where a day makes a visible difference, that gap is the entire point.
What we stock
The catalogue runs to more than a hundred lines across three main areas.
Fruit
Our fruit range covers everyday staples and harder-to-find imports side by side. Apples, bananas, oranges, grapes and watermelon sit alongside dragon fruit, rambutan, soursop, salak, tamarillo, physalis and kiwi berries.
Origins vary by season and by what the market has that week. Berries come from Mexico, South Africa and the Netherlands. Citrus arrives from Egypt, Turkey and South Africa. Tropical fruit comes from Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and the Philippines. Colombia and Peru supply passion fruit, figs, granadilla and yellow dragon fruit.
Mangoes
Mangoes are the line we are known for. The mango range is organised by origin so you can find the variety you actually grew up with rather than a generic box.
From Pakistan we carry Sindhri, Chaunsa, Anwar Ratol, Langda, Dosheri, Siroli and Almas. From India we carry Alphonso, Kesar, Badami, Totapuri, Malika, Priyoor, Moovandan, Sundri and Lal Badsha. We also stock Yemeni Taimoor, and out-of-season varieties such as Kent from Peru, Palmar from Brazil and R2E2 from Australia, which extend the mango season well past August.
Vegetables
The vegetable range covers the basics well: onions, potatoes, tomatoes, garlic, ginger, chillies and leafy greens. Alongside those we carry Dutch mushrooms and capsicum, Spanish cauliflower and zucchini, Australian carrots, South African butternut squash and locally grown UAE cucumber and long green chilli.
We also stock dates, including premium Ajwa.
How ordering and delivery work
Ordering is straightforward. Browse the shop, add what you need, and check out. Every product page lists the pack size and, where relevant, the country of origin, so you know whether you are buying 500g or a 5kg box before you commit.
Once the order is placed you can follow it on the order tracking page.
- Delivery areas: Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah
- Order cut-off: Orders placed before 2pm are delivered same day
- Delivery fee and minimum order: 75 AED minimum Order
- Payment methods accepted: Card, cash on delivery.
- Customer service hours: Monday to Sunday, 7am to 8pm
Everything is packed to suit the fruit. Berries and soft fruit travel in punnets inside chilled boxes. Mangoes travel in their original cartons with the fruit still in trays. Leafy vegetables are bagged separately from anything heavy.
What we do when something is not right
Fresh produce is variable. A box that looked perfect at the market can arrive bruised, and occasionally a fruit is riper or greener than expected.
If something arrives in poor condition, contact us the same day with a photo and we will sort it out. The refund and returns policy sets out the detail. You can reach the team on +971 52 589 0516 or at sales@hafizfruits.ae.
Talk to us
